I am a native Croatian speaker with a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor’s degree in Design, currently living in Spain. Apart from actively using English language during my entire education, my fluency has further improved while residing and working in England and Canada. I have learned Spanish during my travels to Mexico, Central and South America and, further on, by taking Spanish classes for 2 years while living and working in Barcelona.

I am an experienced English and German language teacher and translator/court interpreter/editor/proofreader. Just to mention, that abovementioned language combinations I did not complete, since it is tiresome to click and select all the necessary fields of expertise. I am a hardworking professional who lived for 10 years in Norway before moving back to Bosnia and Herzegovina to complete my studies and enhance my work experience. Currently I am employed with a UK based company that has a HQ in London. This has provided me with an exciting background allowing me to have full proficiency in both English and Norwegian.

Have two decades experience in translating from/to four languages: Bosnian, English, Persian, Arabic. Have translated texts of various complexities. Specialized in philosophy, Masters degree. My native language is Bosnian but also Croatian and Serbian, since these three are actually variations of the same language. Since I have been studying and working as translator and researcher for two decades in Persian, therefore my knowledge of that language is almost as my native one. The other two, Arabic and English, though not as native, I know thoroughly and have experience translating into these two as well. Obviously, being non-native in these two languages as targets, it is hard to deliver a translation which is as eloquent as it would have been if translated by a native translator, but the translation I would accept will be accurate and reliable, and of course with an effort to approach a native expression in delivered translation. I hope this very text sounds good in English :)

I have 20 years of work experience, out of which 10 in international organizations. I enjoy translating and this has been a hobby of mine for years aside from my regular work (budgeting and finance).
