Graduated in Human Resources Management, the major contribution of my career to my current profession was the elaboration of reports and research projects. Since 2010 I worked as a research methodology consultant. In 2015 I started working as a web copywriter and editor of texts in Spanish, using this knowledge to increase my level of English and to improve the results achieved in my works translated from English to Spanish. I am currently working as a copywriter, translator and transcreator. By knowing my language better, I can deliver better translations.

About me Growing up bilingual When I was 10-years-old, my family moved from Spain to Colorado, USA. I attended middle school there and all of my friends were American. After just 9 months no one could believe I was not born American. Learning a language this way is the most effective and efficient way to learn it. As a child, you just simply take everything in and while learning a new language, you are also learning a new culture and way of thinking. At age 13 I moved back to Spain. I was then able to cement my Spanish cultural roots. Then, when I was 15-years-old, we moved again, this time to Portugal. Here I was able to learn Portuguese at still an early age. After obtaining two University Degrees, in Law and Business Administration, and an MBA in International Business Management, I worked for several years as a lawyer, external auditor in PwC, financial controller and cost manager in several countries around the world. Throughout this time, I also worked as a freelance translator and reviser for a Law Firm for over 8 years. It then became clear to me that I was meant to be a translator and now I work as a full-time translator and reviser.

Since completing my MA in Translation in 2010, I have worked as a professional translator, transcreator, editor, final eye, QA specialist and MT post-editor of English into Spanish (Castilian) for international marketing, health and hospitality companies, as well as global agencies specialised in communication, advertising and e-commerce. I hold a BA in Translation and Interpreting from the Central University of Venezuela and an AD in Computer Programming from Belgrano University.
