Hi! I'm Kasya and translation is my life's work. I have been doing it since 2006, first as a hobby and then professionally after graduating from Charles University in Prague. I was born in Russia. Currently based in Czechia. Since I was a teenager I have mediated between two cultures and it became my job. I have the advantage of being bilingual (Czech&Russian). My philological background helps me to capture the context and grasp every nuance of meaning. Understanding the mindset allows me to adapt texts to the target audience. After my graduation, I started to profile as a literary translator + a translator of (popular) science books. Apart from translating, I have spent the last 10 years giving language classes. My students usually make quite a big progress within a small amount of time, and start really using the language.
