I have been translating since 2013, focusing mainly on texts of technological nature and promotional materials, e.g. manuals, software and all kinds of general commerce-related texts. Apart from this main focus I also translate various general and literary texts, games, video subtitles (Amara). I am well versed in the most-often used CAT software such as Trados and willing to learn new and interesting tools that help us translators every day. I am familiar with current trends in technology and can work with a wide range of software.

I work as translator since 2008. My daily capacity is approx 2,000 - 3,000 words for translation, resp. 5,000 words for proofreading. It depends on the text. During my translation career I have worked with user manuals, technical documents, financial statements, computer games, marketing materials like PR, HR documens, leaflets, surveys, web pages, sport interviews, personal letters, books, travel guides etc... I do not translate natural sciences like physics, chemistry and law.

My mission is to help my clients to grow their business abroad by providing them with accurate and fluent translations of their marketing materials, products’ descriptions, technical manuals, apps, or whole e-commerce websites. I am always translating, proofreading, copywriting or transcreating with clients’ needs and final reader experience in mind. Hi! I'm Kasya and translation is my life's work. I have been doing it since 2006, first as a hobby and then professionally after graduating from Charles University in Prague. I was born in Russia. Currently based in Czechia. Since I was a teenager I have mediated between two cultures and it became my job. I have the advantage of being bilingual (Czech&Russian). My philological background helps me to capture the context and grasp every nuance of meaning. Understanding the mindset allows me to adapt texts to the target audience.
