I am a native czech translator with over 10 years of experience. I have experience in number of fields, such as culture, business or history.

I have translated dozens of applications, games, websites. I have been fansubbing The Simpsons and Silicon Valley to Czech.

I work as translator since 2008. My daily capacity is approx 2,000 - 3,000 words for translation, resp. 5,000 words for proofreading. It depends on the text. During my translation career I have worked with user manuals, technical documents, financial statements, computer games, marketing materials like PR, HR documens, leaflets, surveys, web pages, sport interviews, personal letters, books, travel guides etc... I do not translate natural sciences like physics, chemistry and law.

I am a professional Czech linguist offering complex translation & related services incl. review, monolingual proofreading, post-editing, transcription, etc. I have excellent command of the target language, attention for detail and linguistic nuances. Last, but not least, I do care about the final result and honour the intented purpose of the client.

I have been working as a translator and a proofreader since 2010 (e. g. for Booking.com, Czech publishing house Host, Leos Janacek Museum of Music, Alterna music club etc.) thus I believe I have rather a lot of experience. Hi! I'm Kasya and translation is my life's work. I have been doing it since 2006, first as a hobby and then professionally after graduating from Charles University in Prague. I was born in Russia. Currently based in Czechia. Since I was a teenager I have mediated between two cultures and it became my job. I have the advantage of being bilingual (Czech&Russian). My philological background helps me to capture the context and grasp every nuance of meaning. Understanding the mindset allows me to adapt texts to the target audience. I specialize in translation for the Internet space: e-commerce, SMM, marketing, SEO translation, localization of websites, apps, software, captions, subs, video, etc.
