Experienced Danish Freelance Translator since 2013, with knowledge of Swedish language too, especially in CAT tool systems in several domains

I am a Danish native and journalist with more than 10 years of experience in writing and translation. I have done pretty much any type of translation job from short easy pieces to academic work and transla-tion of technical information. I am right now working as a freelancer, as I am comfortable with the flexible and everchanging nature of working with different clients on different tasks. I have lived abroad in Oman and Afghanistan as a journalist and public information officer. I have also worked with large international organizations and enterprises translating between Danish and English.

I am native bilingual for both English and Danish having been raised in a Danish speaking household while living in London, England. As such my translation and transcreation work is authentic and effective. I am able to handle between 1500-2500 words a day (depending on the kind of text) and place high priority on meeting deadlines with quality translations - I’ve only ever had satisfied clients.

Been speaking both English and Danish since birth.
