I've been working as a freelance translator since October 2019. Since then, I translated more than 250 thousand words, and proofread/revised more than 85 thousand words, both from English and Russian to Brazilian Portuguese. I'm undergoing my major in International Relations at São Paulo - Brazil and I would love to help on your project as a translator and proofreader! I've been informally translating and subtitling for several years now on personal blogs, but recently I began to apply my practical knowledge towards a more professional direction and I look for opportunities to provide services in the area.

My native language is Portuguese. I was certified Portuguese interpreter and translator by the state of Texas in 2004 by the Dallas County Community College System.

First, I would like to introduce myself very briefly. I am a 42-year old native Portuguese speaker, who grew, studied and, nowadays, works in Portugal (in the city with the famous hovering umbrella installation, by the way). I am a trained translator with a diploma in English and Portuguese languages and translation post-graduate studies. Before finishing university I decided to interrupt studies to work as an expatriate translator/interpreter in a construction project with a Portuguese company in Barbados. I have completed university after returning and never stopped doing what I really like: communicate between languages. My experience and skills are especially strong with medicine, IT/ICT, defence, business, marketing and legal translation, dealing with contracts, annual reports, corporate websites, bidding documents, business plans, brochures, presentations, written resolutions, and agreements, confidential emails, language assistance in meetings, also experience in diplomatic level. The total number of words over these 20 years exceeds 5,000,000 words, with companies and brand names such as Huawei, Unitel, IBM, Unilever, Suunto, Dell, Disney, Gesticer, Harley Davidson, to name a few.
