I've been working as a freelance translator since October 2019. Since then, I translated more than 250 thousand words, and proofread/revised more than 85 thousand words, both from English and Russian to Brazilian Portuguese. Games are my main field of expertise, and I am experienced with online games (adventure; hidden objects; casino/betting games). After studying business administration at London Metropolitan University, I began my career working in finance, energy and telecommunications in Maputo, Mozambique. In 2013, I founded Navitas Group Lda, a company that aimed to disrupt the stagnant translation market in Mozambique. Mainly, I want to focus on using translation to facilitate communication between individuals and companies, as well as participating in entrepreneurial endeavors that catalyze socio-economic development. I have a depth of experience working in telecommunications, energy and new business development as well as 19 years of experience of translation and intercultural communication. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Translation and Localization Project Management at the University of Maryland, thus honing my translation skills, incorporating CAT Tools, MT and project management techniques into our company workflow and service delivery.

I've been a reporter (as a day job) for almost ten years. I've been doing translations as a freelancer for longer. I am currently working as a multimedia producer at BBC News Brasil and studying law at USP (Universidade de São Paulo). I am used to working under pressure, so I am a good choice for pressing deadlines. I only take one translation job at a time.

I have been a freelance Professional Translator since 2013, specializing in Business, Marketing and Social Sciences.
