Hello. I have a few thing I'd like you to know about my work in translation: I've had some tasks translating from English to Portuguese and vice-versa, mainly casual translations. I'm fluent in English (Currently at C1 level) and speaking Portuguese as a mother tongue. I am a student at Brigham Young University. I am majoring in Portuguese and minoring in Translation and Localization. I have worked as a translator and project manager for Mormon Insights (a BYU website that publishes religious articles) for 4 months.

I graduated in Translation and Language Studies (Letras) in 2004 and also work as an English and Portuguese teacher at public schools since 2005. During this period I have been working as a freelance translator and proof-reader and, truly, that is my passion.

I have been a freelance Professional Translator since 2013, specializing in Business, Marketing and Social Sciences. However, I have also performed successful translations in many other different fields, such as website and app contents, legal contracts, technical manuals, automotive systems, coaching materials, among others. I am very detail and quality oriented. Before that, I was an Administrative Assistant for over 5 years.
