I’m an English to Russian and Russian to English translator. I’ve been doing freelance for some 12 years, and during this time I had great experience in many areas. My key areas of expertise are energy, resources, mining, etc. I’m a native Russian speaker and will be glad to provide proofreading services. I majored in germanic philology, while minored in law. I own a Certificate in engineering translation from Russian to Romanian and from Romanian to Russian. But I had enlarged my knowledge domains. Within 23 years’ career in Caterpillar I had held many different positions in engineering, product support, sales, marketing and management. In the beginning of services as a technical rep of Engine Division, I was actively engaged in the translation of advertising, marketing and technical literature on diesel and gas generator sets, power trains for oil and gas industry, commercial engines. Later on was always involved in the practice of interpreting during negotiations with customers at various conferences, trainings and other events.
