Hi, my name is Andrés and I am a professional translator. I hold a BA in Translation and Interpreting from the Central University of Venezuela and an AD in Computer Programming from Belgrano University. I started my journey as a freelancer back in 2012, and since then I have been collaborating with agencies and direct clients mostly from the US and Europe. My native language is Spanish from Venezuela, but most of my work has been focused on US and neutral Spanish and targeted to US and Latin American audiences. My main field of expertise is information technology, although I have also been involved in many projects related to other fields, mostly human resources and health care. Since completing my MA in Translation in 2010, I have worked as a professional translator, transcreator, editor, final eye, QA specialist and MT post-editor of English into Spanish (Castilian) for international marketing, health and hospitality companies, as well as global agencies specialised in communication, advertising and e-commerce. I am also a confident lead editor with extensive experience successfully leading large teams of editors in order to ensure a spotless final copy: from creating the brief and training the team to nailing the ToV and polishing the texts pre-delivery during QA.

I'm a dedicated full-time English-Spanish translator with years of experience as a college professor.
