Experienced language professional

As a passionate linguist, I made my debut in the translation and localization world in 2014, when I was only a freshman in the university. I started as an intern and ended up to be freelance translator at SDL Turkey for 2 years. During this period of time, I gained immense amount of experience and I learned how to use multiple translation tools. Following that, I worked for a transcription company and made transcriptions of voice records both in English and Turkish. Finally, I started working with Localex in 2017 and that was one of the best decisions I made regarding my profession. During my time in SDL plc. and Localex I made translations, reviews and proof-reading in a wide variety of fields such as law, IT, marketing, legal, medical, gaming. My career history is shaped in 4 interrelated periods focused on communication based on mainly content creation, management, and execution in terms of marketing. Highlights of Qualifications: ● 12 years of in-house experience as an editor, transcreation ed., and copywriter in both conventional and digital media, and advertisement agencies. ● Working on localization and publishing projects as a reviewer, proofreader and editor since 2014. ● Specialized in the fields of corporate and brand communication, marketing, arts&culture, lifestyle ● Experienced in working for multinational PR and Advertising agencies and brands.

I'm working as a freelance translator since 2007 and my main expertise areas are IT, technical, and video games. I also work on marketing, social sciences, educational materials, and questionnaires in general. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and native speaker of Turkish, so I mostly work on English-Turkish pair. I can usually respond to e-mails no later than half an hour, I'm very strict about deadlines and take urgent jobs during work hours.
