I graduated from one of the most prominent language and literature departments of Turkey after which I started working as a professional translator and conference interpreter without any interruption till now. I am highly confident in areas such as IT, tourism, agriculture, marketing & communication, websites, technology and business (contracts, legal documents, etc.). My motivation in this business helps me work very hard and satisfy my customers with each and every request of them. I am a medical doctor for more than 15 years. I have published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in international scientific journals. Currently, I am working as a freelance translator. As a passionate linguist, I made my debut in the translation and localization world in 2014, when I was only a freshman in the university. I started as an intern and ended up to be freelance translator at SDL Turkey for 2 years. During this period of time, I gained immense amount of experience and I learned how to use multiple translation tools. Following that, I worked for a transcription company and made transcriptions of voice records both in English and Turkish. Hi, I am Mücahid, mostly called Muco for short :). I am a freelance translator with 2 years of experience. I have been speaking English for 17 years and French for 6 years. I am a huge books and movies nerd, and I am not just saying that, I love Star Wars Saga, Pulp Fiction (actually, nearly all movies made by Tarantino), Godfather, City of Women and a lot more... I also love rock. To begin with groups, Black Sabbath, Ghost, Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Depeche Mode, Led Zeppelin, and more. Besides that, I went to Medical High school, so I am familiar with latin terms. I also lived in Paris, France for 6 months. During that time, I studied at Sorbonne. I'm working as a freelance translator since 2007 and my main expertise areas are IT, technical, and video games. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and native speaker of Turkish, so I mostly work on English-Turkish pair.
