My name is Allie Shakked Zur and I'm an educator, writer and an experienced translator currently living in Tel Aviv. Hebrew and English are both my native tongues and I have a background in hebrew linguistics and in education as well as sports and physiology. With English as my first language, I grew up in a bilingual country where I was exposed to both French and English, hence my excellent mastery of my source language. I studied microbiology at university, then obtained a postgraduate diploma to teach biology, which I have been teaching for six years now. As a science teacher and translator with three years` experience in the industry, I am able to handle a variety of texts, and am particularly interested in science-related fields. I have experience in medical, legal, economic/financial as well as editorial translation. I also translate certificates, transcripts and academic testimonials.
