I have been a Russian, English, French and Spanish teacher and I have been translating for 3 years. I began translating professionally in graduate school and am now a full-time freelancer. I also edit and proofread, and work only into my native language, so I can guarantee that all my translations sound correct, natural and professional in the target language. With English as my first language, I grew up in a bilingual country where I was exposed to both French and English, hence my excellent mastery of my source language. I studied microbiology at university, then obtained a postgraduate diploma to teach biology, which I have been teaching for six years now. As a science teacher and translator with three years` experience in the industry, I am able to handle a variety of texts, and am particularly interested in science-related fields. I have experience in medical, legal, economic/financial as well as editorial translation. I also translate certificates, transcripts and academic testimonials.
