Hello! My name is Dr. April Stines and I am a seasoned Russian-English & German-English translator/proofreader. I've been working in the translation industry for many years. My specialization is in academic texts, legal documents and literature, but I cover many areas of translation: from blockchain to video games. A little about myself. I am currently studying an MA in translation studies on a part-time basis (2021-2023), having completed an undergraduate degree in European Studies with German and Spanish over the previous four years. Having worked as an intern in a translation and localization role in 2021, continuing as a freelancer afterwards, I have 6 months experience in translating a wide range of texts. I have a keen interest in travel and culture, having spent time abroad in both Germany and Spain during my degree.
