Thank you for looking at my page. I am a language professional who loves a good translation experience. I have studied 3 languages, but my passion is Russian. I have been a Russian, English, French and Spanish teacher and I have been translating for 3 years. I began translating professionally in graduate school and am now a full-time freelancer. I also edit and proofread, and work only into my native language, so I can guarantee that all my translations sound correct, natural and professional in the target language. I have translated marketing materials, websites, maps, news articles, letters, medical and pharmaceutical documents, political opinion columns, essays, poems, stories, and certificates. I have a M.A. degree in Russian language, literature and linguistics from the University of Arizona, and my translations are read by undergraduate university students across the United States in the pages of _The Russia Reader_ (Duke University Press, 2010). I have also completed three years of German-language study at the University of Arizona. I worked extensively for over four years on the Russian 2014 Winter Olympics Project by translating a variety of documents, ranging from press releases and brochures to technical construction diagrams of the Olympic facilities. If you watched any of the English-language broadcasts of the Opening Ceremony on February 7, 2014, then you would have heard some of my translations of the speeches of officials as read by the TV commentators. I have also contributed translations of marketing materials that advance the business goals of major companies active in both Russia and Germany. For example, last fall I translated the annual report of a major Russia-based steel producer targeted at investors.
