Hello! My name is Dr. April Stines and I am a seasoned Russian-English & German-English translator/proofreader. I've been working in the translation industry for many years. My specialization is in academic texts, legal documents and literature, but I cover many areas of translation: from blockchain to video games. A little about myself. I'm from the US, but now reside in Riga, Latvia and have a PhD in Slavic & East European Studies.

I was lucky enough to travel the world and live in many countries, finishing school in U.A.E. and later attending the university in Greece following a job contract in the USA. My knowledge of languages from the native perspective allows me to translate at top notch quality.

WHO I AM: Bilingual since birth I have always had an immence interest in two things: Music and Languages. I have had experience in translating legal/medical/business documents. I am currently translating a fiction novel in my spare time. I have also had experience in teaching both languages for over four years. As a result, I understand the grammar structures of both languages well.
