I am an experienced, reliable and diligent translator and copyeditor, specializing in academic articles. I take pride in producing quality work, delivered on time. I have a keen interest in travel and culture, having spent time abroad in both Germany and Spain during my degree. I have translated ever since my college graduation. I translate in the combinations Spanish-English, and German-English. I specialized in translating contracts, novels, certificates, certifications, wills, deeds, court sentences. Furthermore, I have translated for mining and drug companies. I work on projects concerning to drug information, medical reports, drug test results, leasing of mines, information about minerals, among others. Furthermore, I have translated novels, and poetry books. I love what I do. Currently, I am learning Portuguese and French in order to be able to translate from those languages to English.

Living in Spain for over 10 years has enabled me to perfect my language skills and offer a professional translation, proofreading, and copy-editing service. I also undertake post-editing work. My work includes proofreading and editing translations and work (business and academic) written by non-native English speakers to ensure it reads as accurate and natural English. Through my intense and ongoing language studies I have the skills, both as a translator and interpreter, to present an accurate and contextual form of the source language in the target language. As a content writer I write copy for many sectors including: marketing, e-commerce, SEO, finance, IT, property, travel, home interiors, education, construction, retail, and languages.

I am a languages student from Northern Ireland, studying Spanish and Portuguese. I may not be fully qualified, but I am now looking to fill my time with more translation due to the fact that I had to return home during my Erasmus year due to the COVID-19 outbreak. I still am continuing with my classes from my host university (Porto, in Portugal) and am currently studying a translation module so I am familiar with CAT software and the proper protocol for translation.
