I am an experienced, reliable and diligent translator and copyeditor, specializing in academic articles. I take pride in producing quality work, delivered on time. My regular clients include universities, research institutes, and manufacturing firms. Although confident in taking on a wide range of text types in a variety of fields, my focus in recent years has increasingly been on economics, business and marketing. To date, I have translated or edited over 500 articles, and my work has been featured in a wide range of reputable peer-reviewed journals, including the European Management Journal, International Business Review, Cogent Economics & Finance and Expert Systems with Applications, to name just a few. Having lived in Spain for over 10 years, I have gained an understanding and appreciation of the subtleties of Spanish language and culture. Prior to working as a translator, I was an English teacher for many years, which gave me an excellent knowledge of the mechanics of English.

I've worked for a few decades as a translator and storyteller for governmental and quasi-governmental agencies before moving on to being a freelance translator and copywriter. I've been in translations/linguistics since 1997, millions of words, vast experience, a great lot of fields, I've worked for Google, Airbnb, governments (local and states), just name it. I'm fond of languages. I can speak English (of course), French, Russian, some German, Norwegian, Chinese and even Ukrainian.
