I work as a freelance translator since 2005 (full-time from 2005 to 2008 and since 2017) and have worked as an internal translator for a translation agency in the meantime (from 2008 to 2017). I am a native Dutch translator, authorized by the the State Judiciary of Quintana Roo, Mexico and registered at the Dutch Embassy in Mexico. The past two years I have especially worked on legal translations such as personal and academic documents, notarial deeds, powers of attorney, agreements, and deeds of incorporation. However, I frequently translate website and social media content, including e-learning and e-commerce content, general website features, and instructions and privacy statements. Although technical translations are not my specialty, I have worked on numerous user guides and manuals for technical devices as well.

I am a graduate student in an international programme of Economics at KU Leuven university, taught in English. Previously, I obtained a master's degree in philosophy. This means that I can handle both culturally-oriented texts as well as more scientific ones.
