With a Master's degree in Translation Studies and tons of experience, I'm confident I will be able to provide the high quality translation you are looking for! I'm a native speaker of the Dutch language and am highly proficient in English, to the point that I can call myself near-native. I have a Bachelor's degree in Swedish so I'm comfortable translating from Swedish to either English or Dutch, and having worked as a proofreader at a Dutch marketing agency for years, I have a sharp eye that never misses a mistake. Through the years I have made translations of various texts for agencies worldwide as well as directly for end clients. I have also worked as a translator/ international correspondent for Tyco Valves & Controls (pumps and valves industry), from 2005 through 2009, and for Hero Breda (food industry), from 1992 through 1996. In these jobs I learnt a lot about the translation of technical and practical subjects and natural sciences. I now combine my love for and knowledge of these subjects with my love for languages and translation. I developed a taste for the literary genre as well: since 2012 I have worked closely with a publishing company, called ClusterEffect, and have translated several novels, both fiction and non-fiction.
