I am a native Dutch translator, authorized by the the State Judiciary of Quintana Roo, Mexico and registered at the Dutch Embassy in Mexico. The past two years I have especially worked on legal translations such as personal and academic documents, notarial deeds, powers of attorney, agreements, and deeds of incorporation. However, I frequently translate website and social media content, including e-learning and e-commerce content, general website features, and instructions and privacy statements. Although technical translations are not my specialty, I have worked on numerous user guides and manuals for technical devices as well.

If you are looking for someone to translate not only the words but also the flow of your written piece, look no further! I am a Dutch Honours psychology student with the Open University. As such, I speak, read and write both English and Dutch on a daily basis. My writing endeavours take place within academic, creative and social context, so I am eager to work on a wide variety of projects. Beyond this, I own a one-man company, WordWright, which is the result of my New Year's resolution for 2018. My goal was to turn my work as a translator into my primary source of income and creating this small business was my first step towards achieving that. At present, I am a regular translator with Venngage (Canada) and Grupo M Contigo (Spain), and a regular content creator with WhiteCitadel (the Netherlands).

Through the years I have made translations of various texts for agencies worldwide as well as directly for end clients. I have also worked as a translator/ international correspondent for Tyco Valves & Controls (pumps and valves industry), from 2005 through 2009, and for Hero Breda (food industry), from 1992 through 1996. In these jobs I learnt a lot about the translation of technical and practical subjects and natural sciences. I now combine my love for and knowledge of these subjects with my love for languages and translation. I developed a taste for the literary genre as well: since 2012 I have worked closely with a publishing company, called ClusterEffect, and have translated several novels, both fiction and non-fiction. To name a few: The New Medicine Man (Boris Bouricius), The New World Order (Han Peeters), Sleeping Ulysses (Jess Jordan).
