I am a graduate of the Parisian school ISIT (Institute of Intercultural Management and Communication). Most of my experience has been with journalistic and administrative associations. I already had to carry out translations while respecting strict deadlines. For example, I assisted a group of translators in translating and proofreading newsletters and articles from French into English and from English into French, the deadlines for the newsletters being the same. Similarly, I have worked as a freelance translator and have proven capable of dealing quickly with orders with short deadlines occurring during evenings or week-ends. My most recent job as a data entry contributor has taught me to look quickly and efficiently for specific information and to determine by myself how valid a given source is. I'm a French native speaker from Brussels, Belgium (born in 1981). I live in the US since 1994 and I'm working as a Translator/Proofreader -French (France and Belgium), English (UK/US), Spanish (Spain/Latin America/US), some Italian to English (2007-present) and French, and Consecutive Interpreter - French, English, Spanish (2009-present) - currently in NY. For certain advanced/expert translation, I'm more comfortable translating into English. I hold an Associates of Arts degree from Westchester Community College and a Masters of Arts and Bachelors of Arts in Spanish, with a Minor concentration/specialisation in Italian from Iona College, Cum Laude ( similar to with distinction or with honours mention).
