I translate between English German and Greek and also work as a writer, content writer and creative writer.

As a trained European Merchant, with additional subject-specific training for lawyers in English, I have worked as a sales assistant, sales representative and recruiter for about 10 years, before I started freelancing full-time in 2009. Translating patents (technical English and German) became the main focus of my work as well as manuals and instructions, product descriptions and free style writing. As my clients are lawyers, manufacturing companies, marketing agencies and many more, I enjoy delivering anything from legal language to more creative writing. I love translating legal documents (e.g. contracts, certificates, notarial certificates, licenses, patents, apostilles, legalizations) and other documents such as books, emails, academic transcripts, websites, and user guides.

Growing up in Germany with a bilingual background, I fulfilled my dream at the age of 18 and moved to Szekszárd, where I started working as a volunteer in a kindergarten. After acquiring some basic knowledge of Hungarian, I decided to study early childhood education with a bilingual focus in Hungarian. After working in my profession and after my two older children were born, I started translating for MOZAIK, an internationally recognized publisher of school materials. After acquiring basic translation skills, I passed the state-approved Hungarian and German translation exam at ELTE University in Budapest in 2015. Since then, I have been working full-time as a freelance translator and proofreader. My main areas of expertise in translation and proofreading are marketing, catering, art and culture, especially music and literature, but also theatre and film (subtitling also), tourism, management, law, education, PR, humanities, politics.

I am a certified court translator and interpreter for English, with over 30 years of work experience in translation, proofreading, editing, transcription etc. in English, German, French, Croatian, Bosnian, and Serbian. Over the years I have acquired extensive knowledge of legal, business, marketing, and other terminology. I also have significant experience in the fields of cooking and food, agriculture, kitchen and home appliances, and IT. I am eager to work and provide solutions in a timely and reliable manner, with client satisfaction always being my main goal.
