English to Indonesian Translator

I've working since 2004 in several companies as interpreter, teacher, ground handler, trainer and translator. Book is my life. Travel is my passion.

I started as a freelance translator in 2017, started by translating Japanese novels, songs, works, etc. Mostly focusing on novels, songs, and articles in EN-JP/ID.

Native language: Indonesian. Services: Translation, review, proofreading, post-editing, subtitling, interpretation. Work experience: Translator/Reviewer since 2014. Academic Qualifications: M.Sc. in Engineering. Software: SDL Trados 2017, MS Word, memoQ, Memsource, etc. Words translated per day: 3000-4000 words depending on the document. Being professional translator

I got my BS in computer science years ago, but then I found my passion in translation field. I've been providing English to Indonesian services (documents/articles/websites translation, proofreading/editing, app localization, subtitling) since 2009. I have developed different areas of expertise, including: IT, Website, Apps, Marketing, General Health, Training, Travel & Tourism.

I am a native of Indonesian writing to apply for the open position of English to Indonesian (vv) and English to Javanese (vv) translator. I hold a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching (ELT) and have worked professionally in the area of education and translation fields for the past five years. I translate in some specializations such as education, engineering, e-learning, e-commerce, IT, travel and tourism. Additionally, I also provide localization, subtitling, and transcription services.
