Hello. I have a few thing I'd like you to know about my work in translation: I've had some tasks translating from English to Portuguese and vice-versa, mainly casual translations. I'm fluent in English (Currently at C1 level) and speaking Portuguese as a mother tongue. I'm available to translate anything casual in topics such as History, Politics, Gaming, Arts, Geography and Technology. I'm not looking forward to earn money with this, I'm just here for the thrill!

I am a translation student who has been working with translation since 2018. I have translated all kinds of texts of texts, from poetry to academic essays and articles. Since I am at university exclusively studying translation, I have a vast theoretical background combined with translation practice since it is part of the course curriculum. I have been part of a scientific initiation project for undergraduates and received an honorable mention for it.

Ricardo Jevoux is an experienced English translator and native speaker of Portuguese from Rio de Janeiro. He lives in Portugal where he works as a freelance linguist. His specializations are the localization of games and software, legal translations, manuals in the subject of engineering and pedagogy and particularly challenging texts. His work has led him to engage in independent enterprises and projects alongside huge groups, including the coordination of teams with multiple objectives. His abilities were built having in sight the competitive academic world and because of that, he is among those that consider themselves hard to please and detail-oriented. I am an English teacher and translator, with fluent level of English and native Brazilian Portuguese.

I study ancient greek and latin at the university, I can speak portughese, english and italian as well.

I was raised Trilingual in Haiti speaking French, Haitian Creole and English (Level C2). Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese (Level C1) for I have been living and studying in Brazil since 2017. I speak Intermediate Spanish (Level B2). Part time freelance translator since 2016 and have done work related interpretation on a daily basis since 2014. I am flexible and offer introductory rates for new clients.
