Since I retired as a teacher, I became a full-time freelance translator and was very successful from the very beginning. I have been translating technical, business and private contents from English to Portuguese for more than 10 years. My passion lies in translation, entrepreneurship and helping people. After studying business administration at London Metropolitan University, I began my career working in finance, energy and telecommunications in Maputo, Mozambique. In 2013, I founded Navitas Group Lda, a company that aimed to disrupt the stagnant translation market in Mozambique. Mainly, I want to focus on using translation to facilitate communication between individuals and companies, as well as participating in entrepreneurial endeavors that catalyze socio-economic development.
