I have started translating in 1997, as part of my duties for an ISO 9000- QS 9000- ISO 14000 training and consulting agency. That job provided me with wide and practical experience in many areas, until I could leave the on-site job and start as a freelancer.

I am a freelance translator and copywriter with over 10 years of experience, specialized in the Legal, Financial, Media and Marketing fields. I translate an average of 1 million words per year, which means I have translated over 30 million words throughout my career. I focus on transcreation for advertising by translating meaning and intention, not just words, and I am an expert in translating and adapting a wide range of materials

I am a NATIVE Spanish speaker, from Spain. I’ve been working as a freelance translator since 2006. I am fluent in English and Portuguese and have an extensive knowledge of IT, technology, finance, economics, business, games and marketing, fields I worked in for more than 12 years. As a translator, I have been working on multiple projects for multinationals such IBM and Telefonica. On a daily basis, I translate websites, landing pages, softwares, documents, emails, banners, blogs, contracts, etc. I got my degree in Economics and Business Administration by the University of Valladolid (Spain) back in 2002. I hold a Master’s Degree in Business Administration by the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, one of the most prominent Universities in Spain. I have an eye for detail and deliver spotless translations. I also work quickly, without affecting the quality of the projects I work on.

I am a professional translator since 2012. I grew up in France in a Spanish family, so I learned very early both languages. I studied law in France and Spain so I can translate to both languages. I am a sworn translator before the Tribunal Judiciaire of Perpignan and often perform translations and interpretations for this institution in the legal field (hearings, confrontations, reports, court decisions etc ..) I translate websites, contracts, business presentations, products descriptions, medical records etc ....

I have a Bachelor College degree as English teacher (TESOL) and Spanish Teacher. After 4 years of working as a freelance translator, I have acquired experience in different fields, mainly website and software localisation, marketing (brochures, newsletters...), education and sworn translations French-Spanish. I have worked in-house as a PM and a translator both in Canada and in Argentina. I have been working with agencies around the world (China, US, Canada, France, etc.) for more than 15 years. Apart from having a translation degree, I have studied philosophy at the university, which provides me with additional tools that allow me to understand texts in depth and, most importantly, find the most accurate translation for every term because, after all, what is translation but giving a thing the precise name designated by a culture for it?
