I worked in the field of tourism as a salesman. I have done my internship in Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a translator. Currently, I am working as a full time certified translator and I also work in freelance translation projects. I am trying to improve myself in translating legal, trade and medical documents.

I study in İstanbul 29 Mayıs University. My department is translation and interpreting. I tend to translate texts about marketing, history, philosophy, art and culture, religions. Furthermore, I make localization and post-editing. I am learning German as a second foreign language (current level: pre-intermediate).

I have Bachelor's Degree in Translation & Interpreting Studies at Yeditepe University in Istanbul. Since the beginning of my education at this department, I have done many translations in EN > TR and TR > EN language pairs. I did my internship at ES Language Services, which is the first localization company to be established in Turkey and is widely known in localization sector. I have gained experience in website localization, IT texts and some other fields I listed on my profile during my internship and my education. I also translate contents for two magazines in Turkey, Düşünbil and Libido, and a translation newspaper, which can be found on www.ceviriyoruz.org website. I am a Translation & Interpreting student having experience in translation and game localization. Among the courses I've taken there are consecutive interpreting, gender studies and translation, medical translation, audiovisual translation, literary translation, editing and proofreading. I am also an undergraduate minor student in English Linguistics. I utilize technology in all ways possible in my works. Teamwork is key for me. I am interested in music, voice acting/dubbing.

I graduated from Translation and Interpreting Studies Department in the year of 2012. As an undergraduate student at Boğaziçi University, I have improved my English speaking skills through the courses. Moreover, I cannot deny the great contribution of my visiting the USA and working there for three months. During my education I worked at different places, such as publishing houses, translation offices so as to gain experiences. Apart from translating legal and business documents for various local and international translation companies as a freelance translator, I have also edited a number of books, stories, poems and other creative texts. I also completed my M.A. in Comperative Literature at Istanbul Bilgi University, which contributed my academic and linguistic skills. Following that, I started my Phd at Translation and Interpreting Studies Department at Yıldız Technical University in 2017.
