I am a sworn translator in Germany and am native in both German and Russian. I have studied Translation Studies in Heidelberg (Germany) and International Relations in Budapest (Hungary). My specializations stem from practical work experience either as a freelancer in translation, or as an employee in the branch. In any case don't hesitate to ask me about my CV and I will be happy to forward it to you, so you get to know more about me as a professional in the translation business.
In the legal/economic fields, I have gained most experience with disability and universal design, mainly with EU texts. I myself have mild locomotor disability. In addition to other voluntary activities, I do occasional translations for SUHANJ! Foundation, as well as for UNICEF Hungary, so I am well aware of children's rights. I am familiar with the field of sports, culture/arts, or even social sciences and psychology, because I am basically an open-minded, curious person, I get a lot of information. I gained the experience described above at the Budapest Association for Persons with Physical Disabilities, and participated in an EU translation project, translated for a community website operated by Armenians, and undertook other volunteer-based translations in addition to the volunteer work mentioned above.
I'm a native Hungarian who is fluent in English (C1) and German (B2). I'm into my final year studying German studies (C1) at the Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest. I'm looking to build my translating portfolio. I've been mentoring middle school students to prepare for their exams. I have a passion for languages and always looking for my next challenge!
Born as a Hungarian in Austria, I am native in German as well as in Hungarian. Since I am studying Internation Business and Economics, and with my husband being Brazilian, English is part of my everyday language and therefore also almost on a native level. As mentioned before, since my husband is Brazilian, I also speak Portuguese. I have experience in translation in Hungarian, German and English.
