I am an experienced, reliable and diligent translator and copyeditor, specializing in academic articles. I take pride in producing quality work, delivered on time. My regular clients include universities, research institutes, and manufacturing firms. Although confident in taking on a wide range of text types in a variety of fields, my focus in recent years has increasingly been on economics, business and marketing. I offer over a decade of experience specializing in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian to English translation, localization, subtitling, and interpretation. Prior work includes translating for Google, The New York Times, A-list celebrities, Fendi, EU-funded research projects, National Geographic docuseries, UNICEF videos, Dario Gioè's Journey to the Center of a Millennial, and localizing marketing materials and websites for international hotel chains. Finally, I've interpreted for the United States Anti-Doping Agency, immigration attorneys, asylum seekers, market researchers, and medical patients.

I localize online, marketing, commercial and PR content to help give clients direct access to the English-speaking market, specializing in the tourism industry. My extensive translation experience includes tourism websites, legal documents, rental contracts, social media articles as well as literature, having translated my first book last year (2016). With a Master's Degree in the Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College, VT, I consider myself to be a grammar expert, in addition to being fluent in the language. I had study abroad experiences in Mexico prior to living in Madrid during graduate school. In 2010 I spent the Winter-Spring semester traveling throughout Argentina and homeschooling my then 3rd grade son and 7th grade daughter. Also in 2010, I began a summer language immersion program, True Immersion, LLC, in Sevilla, Spain for American teens - which continues today. I am highly proficient in Italian - primarily self-taught - but have also studied at the Lorenzo de Medici and Centro Firenze language schools in Florence over the last 14 years. From 2006-2011 I participated in an Italian Book Club hosted by a native instructor from Virginia Commonwealth University. I love the work of translating and look forward to helping you!

I have translated ever since my college graduation. I translate in the combinations Spanish-English, and German-English. I specialized in translating contracts, novels, certificates, certifications, wills, deeds, court sentences. Furthermore, I have translated for mining and drug companies.
