Custom Apps Beta: Smartcat Quick Translate & Custom Intake Portals
Custom Apps make Smartcat more flexible and configurable. Custom apps can serve different purposes — custom workflows, custom intake forms ("portal" solutions), or custom reports — and appear under a dedicated Apps section in your workspace navigation.
The first apps available:
Quick Translate — a two-panel translator (like Google Translate) that runs on your Smartcat AI translation, taking full advantage of your Intelligence Fabric: your AI translation profile, glossaries, and previously approved translations.
Custom intake portals — simplified, structured request forms that let people submit translation work through a tailored "portal" experience instead of the full interface.
